Ron Kenney is a stand-up comedian who has been performing professionally for over forty years in almost every venue imaginable. From colleges to cruise ships and just about every comedy club in the country. His expertise has been performing at corporate dinners, golf tournaments and conventions. He has spent a lot of years on the main room stages of Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Laughlin and Atlantic City opening for such stars as Lou Rawls, Neil Sedaka, Melissa Manchester, Jerry Vail and Andrew Dice Clay. He has also performed on many production shows such as The Cavalcade of Stars at the Las Vegas Hilton. Ron has been seen on many television shows featuring stand-up comedians such as Evening At The Improv, Comedy Express, VHI, MTV and Comedy On The Road. He wrote a novel which is about a comedian’s golf tournament that is being made into a movie called: THE COMICS OPEN. Louie Anderson said of that book, “The Comics Open, I couldn’t close it. Fun. Fresh. Fore! Golf and comedians, always good for a laugh.” Comedy ICON Buddy Hackett wrote the forward for the book and said of it: “It is a great read. Easy, light and very entertaining.” |
